Man v. Food host Adam Richman in Knoxville last year
In the show Man v. Food on the Travel Channel, host Adam Richman tours the country searching for the most outrageous and gut-busting food challenges.

Richman has said in interviews that he wanted to visit Nashville, and last year Chris Chamberlain asked Bitesters to come up with our favorite dining spots for Richman to tackle.

Well, we've heard nothing official, but a job ad on Craigslist seems to indicate the show is in town today through Sunday.

NASHVILLE, TN - MAN V. FOOD PRODUCTION/PHOTO INTERNSHIP

The Travel Channel's Man v. Food will be in Nashville on Wednesday, 03/02/11 through Sunday, 03/06/11 for our new season! Off day on 03/05/11.

We're looking for 2 production interns and 1 photography intern to assist the crew.

Production Interns: Duties include securing appearance releases, shooting B-roll, organizing production tapes, assisting with gear, and general assistance.

Photography Interns: Duties include taking production stills of our host and crew in action. Their photos will be featured on the Travel Channel's website for Man v. Food once the episode airs — Camera will be provided (a SONY A230 DSLR) and all photos will be owned by the Travel Channel. Those images will be owned by the Travel Channel.

This internship is UNPAID, but lunch will be provided. We'll also sign off on any college/extra credit if needed. This is a great opportunity to learn how a documentary/reality style production is shot and is a fast way to add experience to your resume!

(Those applying for the Photography Internship, please send a link to a portfolio or please send a few samples)

We have no idea of Richman's Nashville itinerary, but surely no food daredevil could visit our city without a stop at Prince's for hella-great hot chicken. (Does anybody want to volunteer to stake out the door at Prince's for the next few days?)

And Bites Nation, if you spot the Man v. Food crew around town, please report back.

* (Just kidding. There is absolutely no indication that unpaid interns will be required to eat anything scary or larger than their heads.)
