Friday's menu is completely different and features a Cajun theme. If you remember Angel Whip's work at South Street, you know she knows her way around some Maque Choux.
Also open for special lunches during the holiday is Morton's Steak House downtown on Church Street. They are offering an a la carte lunch menu featuring entrée salads, sandwiches, seafood and, of course, steak. Morton’s will also feature their Prime Lunch Selections, a special prix fixe menu for $35 per guest.
Morton’s will be open for lunch from 11:30 a.m.-2:30.p.m. on the following dates:
Wednesday, Dec. 15
Thursday, Dec. 16
Friday, Dec. 17
Monday, Dec. 20
Tuesday, Dec. 21
Wednesday, Dec. 22
They are also providing complimentary valet parking, so pick up that good customer you've been meaning to reward and flip the keys to the sleigh to the nice man at the valet stand.
Morton's is also holding a raffle which they wanted you to hear about. Invite me if you win!
Morton’s guests can also enter for the chance to win a complimentary, post-holiday cocktail reception for 10 people. The Post-Holiday Cocktail Reception Contest starts Dec. 1 and ends Dec. 31. Guests can register at the restaurant or directly at www.mortons.com/cheers. One winner from each location will be randomly selected and notified the week of January 10, 2011.
For more information about Morton’s holiday hours or to make reservations, contact Karleen Koerkel at 259-4558 or email@example.com.
Our friends at 360 Bistro called to let us know that they are now open for lunch. Not only do they consistently have one of the best wine lists in town, but owners Ashley and Nick Jacobson have put quite a creative kitchen staff together led by Chef Sal Avila.
The lunch menu looks really inventive, but I just keep going back to one entree that combines two of my favorite things, brisket ragu and my friend Tommy Noodles' homemade pasta. Lazzaroli Rigatoni, you will be mine and soon!
