The Scene's "Best of Nashville" issue is now on the stands, and you may need a forklift to take one home. At 188 pages, it may be the single biggest issue in the paper's history — including more than 10,000 words alone on the subject of Nashville's best food and drink.

The argument fodder begins with the voluminous reader votes, then really kicks off with Carrington Fox's choices for Nashville's Best Restaurant and Best New Restaurant — honors shared by two eateries that happen to share many qualities, including wild creatures in the restaurants' names.

So tell us: Anything you were surprised to see (or not see)? Any categories you'd like to see next year? Any selections that made you smack your forehead (or want to smack ours)? We now turn the weekly Open Thread over to you.
