How would you like to rub elbows with some of Nashville's elite at a huge viking table stretching across the Cumberland River — and help out Nashville's greenways at the same time? Tomorrow night is your chance. The fourth annual Dinner on the Bridge will be held Sept. 30 on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge, starting at 6 p.m. Lori Mechem and Roger Spencer will provide live jazz, and Kates Fine Catering will serve Italian fare. The rain date will be Oct. 5.

A hugely popular event, Dinner on the Bridge benefits Greenways for Nashville, which works to support the growing Nashville greenway system through volunteer programs, enhancement projects, public awareness, education and promotion.

The dress code is casual and reservations are $150 per person. To hold you place at the table, contact Sherry Walker at 862-8400, x324 or email sherry.walker@nashville.gov.
