We told you last month about a new beer coming to town, Jubilee Nut Brown Ale. Now it's finally readily available at some of your favorite places around town. Not only do they market a darn tasty brew, but 50 percent of their proceeds go to the Oasis Center to support their efforts with Nashville's at-risk youth.
Bluegrass Beer Company out of Louisville, Ky. is handling the actual brewing, and they have created a very drinkable medium-bodies ale that pairs well with food but will still be light enough to enjoy on its own by the pool this summer. In an additional local angle, it turns out that two of BBC's owners are Nashville residents so you can feel good about that in addition to the publicity and support they are giving to Oasis Center.
Jubilee is currently available at Whiskey Kitchen, 12 South Taproom, 3 Crow, Melrose, Corner Pub (Green Hills and In the Woods locations), Patterson House and specialty beer stores all over town. A complete list is available at www.jubileebeer.com.
