Sloco's Not Loco: Tayst Chef Jeremy Barlow Opening Gourmet Sandwich Shop

Jeremy Barlow's a busy guy, what with his 8-year-old fine-dining spot Tayst (officially crowned as Nashville's first certified green restaurant), his Local Kitchen Catering business, his recent visit to New York to cook at the James Beard House, and last week, an invitation to a sustainability conference the James Beard Foundation convened in Louisville. But Barlow's not too busy to plot a second restaurant, Sloco, which will be a lunch-only sandwich shop with an accent on locally sourced and sustainable produce and meat.
