Bicentennial Mall Image

Stroll through the Bicentennial Mall, one of Nashville's gems, which is not a shopping complex studded with Foot Lockers but a tree-lined park and promenade with a 200-foot granite map of the state, a Pathway of History measured in 2001-like monoliths, a World War II memorial, a working carillon, and a fountain plaza that fills in summer with children splashing in the soaring jets of water. The mall hosts cool events through the summer, including Tennessee Association of Vintage Baseball games (play like it’s 1860!) and occasional filming of the TV show Nashville. Visit the adjacent Nashville Farmers' Market while you're in the area.
