Beauty and the Beast at Donelson's Senior Center for the Arts

Tale as Old as Time

The late-2008 departure of producer Kaine Riggan has not stopped Nashville Dinner Theatre from continuing its program—now under Jane Schnelle—of mounting big shows with enthusiastic casts while serving its traditional three-course meals. This Disney favorite offers lively, often very lovely music by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, as well as its timeless tale of love, fantasy, suspense and lessons learned about inner strength and beauty. Melissa Bailey and Joe Robinson are in the leading roles, under the direction of Laura Lindsey. Mitch Fuller provides the musical direction.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: July 24. Continues through Aug. 16, 2009
