Al Gore Tells The Future on Groundhog Day at Belmont

This from Parnassus Books:

On Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 2:00pm, join former Vice President and #1 New York Times bestselling author Al Gore as he discusses his new book, The Future, at Belmont University's Massey Concert Hall. With the same passion he brought to the challenge of climate change, and with his decades of experience on the frontlines of global policy, Al Gore surveys our planet’s beclouded horizon and offers a sober, learned, and ultimately hopeful forecast in the visionary tradition of Alvin Toffler’s Future Shock and John Naisbitt’s Megatrends.

He will appear in conversation with former Newsweek editor-in-chief and New York Times bestselling author Jon Meacham. Doors will open at 1:30pm.

Tickets are $35 and include preferred seating and a copy of The Future, which will be handed out at the conclusion of the event. A book signing will follow, and a copy of The Future must be present to enter the signing line. You can purchase tickets for the event online by clicking here.
