From the Nashville Post:
Tennessee Distilling Company has sold its Collier & McKeel brands to North Coast Spirits, a California group. The sale price was not disclosed.
"Finding the right partner to carry on this historical legacy of these brands was hugely important to me," saud Mike Williams, President of Tennessee Distilling. "I really wanted to find a partner that could take Collier & McKeel forward and carry on the Tennessee tradition of this company".
The whiskey will continue to be made in Nashville. Just last year, the company expanded its distribution to key areas of the east coast. It is currently available in 21 states and Australia.
