The Assistance League of Nashville is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) corporation that has been around for almost a decade, helping out local community organizations by conducting community needs assessments, developing programs to fit those needs and then funding and staffing those programs.

One of the biggest fundraisers for the organization is their wine tasting event, which they call An Affair to Remember.

This year's gala will be held this Friday, Feb. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Richland Country Club. Best Brands and Frugal MacDoogal are providing more than 60 wines for tasting, along with a light cocktail supper prepared by chef Dean Pugel of Richland.

Attendees will be entertained by the musical stylings of Kent Goodson and a silent auction will feature items like a week's stay in a Destin beach condo, golf at private clubs and an overnight stay at the Hermitage Hotel with dinner at the Capitol Grille.

Tickets to this 21+ event are $100 and are available at the event website.
