Adam Bomb Makes a Splash: More Accolades for Blackstone

It seems like you can't swing a pony keg without hitting some announcement of a new achievement for Blackstone Restaurant and Brewery. Last year, I told you about Adam Bomb, their extremely hoppy new offering that has become quite popular in the high-gravity beer section of many local liquor stores. Apparently, y'all have good taste, because Adam Bomb recently beat out 15 other IPAs from around the country to win the Great American IPA Challenge.

The beers were judged on taste, color, clarity and smell in a head-to-head competition, with Adam Bomb coming out the clear winner. For a full recap of the results, check out exbeerienced.com.

Blackstone also received some more recognition from no less than The New Yorker. In a recent survey of over 2,300 craft breweries, Blackstone was named as the fastest-growing brewery in the country. Thanks to recent expansions, they have grown by more than 50 percent in the past year and have definitely put themselves on the national map.
