'All Things Nashville' Dinner Planned in Atlanta to Benefit Southern Foodways Alliance

It seems that even our big sister city of Atlanta is jumping on the "Nashville as IT City" bandwagon. Atlanta is the home of the original Taqueria del Sol locations, and the company's founders, Eddie Hernandez and Mike Klank, are big supporters of the Southern Foodways Alliance. In the past, TdS has thrown two fundraising dinners to benefit the SFA, events they call "Piggy Bank Dinners."

For the third installment on July 14 from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. (that's EDT, or Yankee time), one of Taqueria del Sol's Atlanta locations will host an "All Things Nashville" dinner to raise more money for the SFA. They have invited some of Music City's finest to Atlanta to prepare the repast and the drinks.

Roderick Bailey of The Silly Goose and Josh Habiger of The Catbird Seat and Strategic Hospitality will put together the menu for the assembled diners, who will enjoy a six-course dinner with wine pairings for just $75. The Nelsons of Green Brier Distillery will treat each guest to a welcome cocktail featuring their Belle Meade Bourbon.

The dinner will take place at the Taqueria del Sol location at 2165 Cheshire Bridge Road in the ATL, and tickets are available at here.
