The Pear Bureau Northwest is looking to you, professional chefs and mixologists, for pear ideas, and is paying good money for them.
Submit your best appetizer, salad, entree, beverage or dessert recipe to Pear Panache, the bureau's professional website, by July 31. Not only could you be $1000 richer, but you could become the featured chef on Pear Panache. Good for pears, good for you, good for the resume, and good for your customers.

The competition is pretty stiff, so bring your best: you'll be up against recipes like Roasted Pear, Pea and Mint Relish and a vanilla- and citrus-scented Lucky Pear cocktail.
